Oak City Onewheel Partners with the US Disc Golf Championship: Bringing the Stoke to Rock Hill!
We are beyond stoked to announce that Oak City Onewheel has been invited to partner with the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) this year! As one of the premier events in disc golf, the USDGC draws top talent and enthusiastic fans from all over the world, and we’re proud to be part of this amazing event happening in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
What We’re Bringing to the Championship
At Oak City Onewheel, our mission has always been about building community, sharing the stoke, and introducing as many people as possible to the joy of riding. That's why we’re excited to offer free Onewheel demos and trick riding showcases throughout the USDGC event.
1. Free Onewheel Riding Lessons: Never been on a Onewheel? No problem! Our experienced riders will be there to provide hands-on lessons for riders of all levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or just curious about what Onewheeling is all about, we’ll be guiding participants through the basics—so you can get your balance, start cruising, and feel the freedom of floating.
2. Trick Riding Demos: Prepare to be amazed by some epic Onewheel trick riding from our crew! We’ll be showing off some of the wildest tricks you’ve ever seen on a single wheel—everything from tight turns and jumps to smooth slides. If you’re attending the USDGC, you’ll get a front-row seat to the action as we demonstrate the creativity and skill that comes with Onewheeling.
3. Stoke and Fun All Weekend Long: We believe Onewheeling and disc golf have a lot in common—they both celebrate outdoor fun, creativity, and community. That’s why we can’t wait to share our passion with the disc golf world. Whether you’re watching a round of disc golf, relaxing between matches, or just curious to see what the hype is about, swing by the Oak City Onewheel zone to catch all the action.
What is the USDGC?
For those unfamiliar, the United States Disc Golf Championship is one of the most prestigious events in the sport of disc golf. Each year, the best disc golfers from around the world descend upon the Winthrop Gold Course to compete for the championship title. The event is known for its challenging course and fierce competition, making it one of the most anticipated tournaments on the disc golf calendar.
With Oak City Onewheel adding a dose of stoke, we’ll be making sure that even when discs aren’t flying, the fun doesn’t stop!
