Originally seeking an escape from the confines of home and a way to destress, Jared found more than just a ride in the Onewheel; he discovered a vibrant community that would become his second family. Over the years, Jared has not only ridden countless miles but also forged deep connections, turning strangers into lifelong friends. His primary mission is to spread the love he found within the Onewheel community. An avid advocate for trying new things and embracing the joy of group rides, Jared encourages others to join the movement. Whenever there's an Onewheel event on the horizon, you can count on Jared, aka the Mad Scientist, to organize Oak City Onewheel's presence. From Stokebird to the DC Cherry Blossom Parade and Deft Punx Fest, he's tirelessly Spread the Stoke, Cultivated Partners, and Grown the Community.

As a software engineer with a unique background in hardware, Jared is the programming maestro and co-creator behind the ElectroLytes. Collaborating with Justin "Trail Blazer" Leonard from Oak City Shred Solutions and Seth "Goose" Evans, they brought the vibrant ElectroLytes to the Onewheel community. In the world of Onewheeling, Jared, the Mad Scientist, stands at the intersection of passion, technology, and community, leaving an indelible mark on the Oak City Onewheel experience.
