Joshua "Supremo" Christensen's journey into the world of Onewheel began with an unexpected medical retirement from the US Air Force. Seeking camaraderie and adventure, he connected with fellow riders in the local Onewheel Raleigh Facebook group. Together, they founded Oak City Onewheel, a community-driven organization dedicated to embracing the thrill of Onewheel riding. At Floatlife Fest 3, Supremo's leadership earned him the title "The Supreme Commander," leading to the beloved nickname "Supremo." Under his guidance, Oak City Onewheel evolved into Oak City Shredders, officially becoming a nonprofit organization in January 2021. The culmination of their efforts was the inaugural Oak City Shred Fest at Lakeside Retreats in July 2021, a monumental achievement for the burgeoning community. Supremo's passion extends to themed rides like Halloween and the Star Wars Ride, fostering connections and partnerships within the community. A fervent advocate for Flight Fins, Supremo's riding style emphasizes agility and creativity, often seen effortlessly leaping over obstacles. As a proud father of four, Supremo shares his love for Onewheel riding with his youngest son, Eli "LT. Commander" Christensen, creating cherished memories like commentating on Eli's first race. With a mission to Spread the Stoke, Cultivate Partnerships, and Grow the Community, Supremo invites all to join Oak City's vibrant events, experience the thrill the Onewheel or many other PEV's and become part of this incredible journey together.
Join us as we ride the waves of adventure, camaraderie, and endless stoke!
